Powered Paragliding

Powered paragliding is one of the safest and easiest to learn aviation activities available! The SLOW SPEEDS, and pendular stability inherent in the design make this a sport which is truly accessible. The entire rig fits inside a car trunk and the glider can be used for motorless paragliding flights as well! Pilots not wishing to carry the weight of the motor during launch may add a "sit-down" trike attachment as an option.

Triking

Motorized hang gliding ("triking") allows somewhat greater speeds (from 20-80 mph, depending on the wing) and allows the pilot to sit in a 3 wheeled trike. There are single and 2-place trikes and, like powered paragliders, trikes fall under FAR Part 103 and Sport Pilot regulations of the FAA rules governing ultralight aircraft...no pilots license needed!
